does anyone know. I heard Tai Chi improves circulation, but yoga improves circulation AND flexibility. Any experts know for sure, if folks on this board can be considered that?

RUNNING is better for running....beyond that, I know little more.
Good question. Any detailed responses welcome....
Depends on the style of taiji in question. If you're practicing new agey California-ized Yang style, then no. If you're practicing a traditional Chen style, then absolutely - Chen develops explosive power, flexibility, balance, and great leg strength. If you're practicing one of the more martial and traditioanl subforms of Yang style, then the benefits will be similar to Chen style... unless you're practicing one of the Yang subforms that crosses over to san shou and you get injured.
I'm not familiar with yoga, but I believe that it similarly has a myriad of styles. I know a few runners who do bikram yoga and swear by it.
I do know that both taiji and yoga take a lot of time to do well and that time might be better spent running.
