My best story comes from college. Our whole distance team went out for our 3 mile warm up (about 12 distance guys). It was right after a spring rain, about 65 degrees. We were about 800 meters in comming up to a "T" intersection.
This car pulls up about 5 seconds before we get to the intersection, she will be turning left. She completely sees us comming in a mass pack, yet still pulls directly into the cross walk, making all of us have to go around her car. My friend Tyler takes his chance.
The car is still a bit wet from the rain. He takes a power steeple stride, jumps, kicks up his feet and dukes of hazard slides accross the front hood. The slide was perfect. He hits the others side and his feet hit the ground and he keeps running like without breaking a stride.
The rest of us are laughing and we all give her hood a smack or the guys who went around the otherside slap the side. the chick's boyfriend is sitting next to her, and he makes a move like he's going to get out, but then he realizes it's 12 on one, then he starts to smile and laugh, and realized that a guy just slid accross the car... it was priceless....
