If you feel that way ... and your criticism is not valid...check out their video of Alberto Salazar coaching Kara Goucher through an entire workout, and explaining the whole thing as she circles the track.
Actually, the Molly Huddle interview dealt with the frustrations she's had with injuries in college. Others, such as Karen Harvey, have been frank abot mistakes they've made along the way. But by and large, the focus is to portray the sport in a positive light.
You have to keep in mind that these are mostly video introductions to young (and yes, mostly pretty nice) distance runners. When running becomes more glamorous, maybe then we can have the hard-digging expose's into alcoholic spouses and concealed gay sex lives.
psychologists call that sorta act self-flattery.

Now THAT would make running popular.
id f*** her.
some people just can't tell a damn story -- just get to the point, chick. Cripes!
She's baked.
And I found both of these ladies to be far more interesting and better able to express themselves than Slattery.
MY VOTE:
pre Flocasts interview: Sara Slattery
post Flocasts interview: Molly Huddle
Molly Huddle, what a sweetie!
I have a hard time warming up to Notre Dame, but I've been rooting for Molly Huddle since midway through her freshman year. I know she'll be running in the pros for years to come, but I'm going to miss her on the college scene. She deserved at least one NCAA title last year (being ranked #1 in the nation in 5k and 10k), I hope she gets one this year.
I thought Sara's flocast was very interesting. Many of you are so critical and lost sight of the fact that these interviews are supposed to be laid back and looking into the otherside of the athlete when they are off the track. Sara seems like a very nice girl and I am sure is not "baked" or "high".
So let's take a guess - how many of these posts are from the flocast guys? I'd say 60%, starting with post #2.
Please, let this thread die!
No I don't believe everything I hear, but it came from a reliable source (Steve was at his NY apartment).

as the author of "post #2" i can say i am not related to flocasts at all. i am just your average runner who happens to enjoy watching the videos.
