me and my teamates got 13:25.76 4x1500

ahh, that is good. If they could run those times in real like that would be amazing but currently none of them can go under 4:09 in the 1500. So that is bad.

A couple of us have gone 3:20 in the 1500 so I think those records are actually pretty weak., the 4 x 8 seems pretty good though

i was just joking because those kids are all runner. and no one has a shot at running 3:50 let alone 3:20.

Good Observation, Only one of the four is a mid-Distance runner and seems to be best at the 800 and chokes at everything above 800, the other three are Long-Distance guys. Come on did any of the Long-Distance guys even run under 4:20 last year?

Good 4x800 time are you going to try and get the 4x200 and 4x100 records as well? Seems like the 4x100 would be nearly impossible on that game.

Come on now. This thread wasnt started as a way to put real runner's talents at running in question but a way to see what others records at the PS2 game Athens 2004.

Its nice they included the 4x1500m splits but I am curious to know what the 4x400 and the 4x800m splits were.

Alaskan Runner do you recall your splits? and what is your world record in the 1500?

the 4x400 was all 43s.....that's all i remember.

I agree that 1500 is weak. sub 3:21 is possible without a pacer, that would give you around a 13:24. I know a guy who has run 1:35 in the using two controllers, but I'm sure the pacing one had no hearts after about 500 meters.

Just estimating what my friends and I have run in either 1 or 2 person races, I'd say we could go about:

4x400 - 2:50

4x800 - 6:40

4x1500 - 13:25

Consider these our seed times. I will get on this and let you know what the official times are.

From what I remember the 4x4 was a bunch of 43 mids and the 4x8 was one 1:40 and a bunch of 1:43 lows

Also that 4x1 record would be impossible on this game

Its hard enough to run sub 9.8, trying to break the world record would mean everyone has to run like sub 9.5 (impossible in the game).

I have run 3:21 in the 1500 but can't run faster how do you run faster without a pacer? I dont think sub 3:20 is possible without a pacer.

About one more year until Beijing 2008, Think anything will be different than Athens? (more races, more realistic paces..not this 54,46 stuff in the 800)?

By the look of those splits it was a beautiful day for an athletics meeting. For new events in the the 2008 beijing game.. Let me guess Hammer Throw..

I will certainly be disappointed if they do not have the Hammer throw in Beijing 2008.

Perhaps a rice eating contest or a 12 Kilometer Cross Country race through thick and burrow.
