I am a high school freshman hurdler.
I ran my first 55m HH race indoors over the weekend. I ran 8.8 in my prelim (5 stepped between the second and third hurdle), 8.3 in the semis, and 8.5 in finals. All hand times.
I also ran 24.9 (MT) in the 200m.
What kind of goals should I set for outdoors? My state runs the 300m IH, not the 400m.
I also ran the 400m for the first time in 57.0 in a time trial at practice.
Is it realistic for me to break 16.0 in the 110s? And run under 41.2 in the 300s? My team has a pretty good 4x400 and I'm wondering if I should focus on the 300s or the 4x4 as my best chance at state.
