Hal:
I'm not very good at the computer stuff. I did find the listing of your writings....WOW. I knew you had written for years and years, but was impressed with the depth and diversity.
All I wanted to do was share some pictures and a bit of a story background with you concerning Buddy Edelen and the first race I ever directed. You may recall that I mistakenly called it the White to Brookings Marathon (South Dakota) 1964 and you corrected me in a letter pointing our that the word marathon shouled correctly be used to describe ath 26.2 mile distance. I've got a couple of interesting photos to share.
Since I can't figure out how to email the stuff to you, I'll give you my cell phone number (217-549-6671) If you wanted to call me to give me your email address, I could get it that way. If not, no big deal. I just was thinking about you and a few of the experiences we had. Do you remember coming to Milledgeville, IL to write about the circuit riding preachers?
I better close for now...hope you and Rose are doing well
