Mark Few would be a great hire at Kentucky if he'd leave Gonzaga. With all of the assets of Wildcat hoops, Few would lose very (pardon the extression) few games. Maybe Kentucky would be the only place he'd go.

Very little pressure at Gonzaga. Can get the best west coast recruits.
Why would he even consider going to Kentucky and that pressure cooker? Other than a boatload of money?
Kentucky basketball=Notre Dame football
True, there is no great pressure at Gonzaga. But is there any chance to win NCAAs at Gonzaga? I'd say no. I think Few is the finest coach in the country and could take Kentucky back to the glorious championship days of Rupp, Hall, and Pitino. That's just not possible at Gonzaga.

One man's pressure is another's spotlight. Few could stay at Gonzaga for the rest of his career and 99% of the population would continue to ignore him. People who are successful in athletics tend to posses the personality that seeks out, and thrives under, pressure. It's the same reason that top baseball players always want to play for the Yankees. Few will always be limited at Gonzaga. Kentucky would provide him with the opportunity to win championships and become a national celebrity. That opportunity is the reason that good coaches will consistently leave secure coaching gigs to test their skills at UK in basketball and ND in football.
Keep living in the past. Gonzaga is a top level program and has been Kentucky's equal the last 8 years. You know your program has arrived when you have to start kicking players off the team for criminal conduct.
Just like Notre Dame gets a few scraps left over from Ohio State, Michigan, and Florida in football, Kentucky can only get the scraps after Matta, Pitino, Calipari, and Pearl get the players they want.
The next head coach at the University of Kentucky will be John Calipari. Don't doubt this. It's true.
I think it will be Tom Izzo.
the only jobs that few will consider, i believe, are oregon and arizona. he has said a few times that arizona is his dream job, though it is lute's until he decides to leave. few is from oregon and friends with the new AD. but now that kent seems to be rolling again, i doubt that job will be open soon.
to those who said that gonzaga cant win a national title, take notice in one to two years. if heytvelt returns to the team, they will be loaded. downs, pargo, bouldin and heytvelt are all potential nba players. downs and bouldin havent touched their potential. added to that cast are top recruits austin daye and stephen gray. with david pendergraft having a coming out party in the last month of the season, the future is bright at gonzaga. their best teams are definitely ahead of them.
I think Few is one of those rare people who knows when he has a good thing and knows when to be satisfied in life. He gets good kids at GU (this years problems are a real anomaly at GU), he has total control of the program, and they love him there. He is smart enough to be satisfied with all that, and just concentrate on doing well there.
I graduated from Gonzaga in '93, and it was still relatively unknown. My wife would tell her kids (she's a HS teacher) she was from Spokane and her husband went to Gonzaga, and the kids would go "where?". Nobody says that any more, thanks to Mark Few.
I don't think he's going anywhere.
