He has extensive experience with talented young runners, he is knowledgable, and he's not a perv, either. Very trustworthy with young runners.
He is known s the elite athlete coordinator for the Boston Marathon through John Hancock.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give him a call.
How the Hell can an eleven year old be dedicated? You sound like a scary parent.
Send the kid out to play.
Sheesh.
Mickey,
Who said I was this athlete's parent? I'm not.
This child has a well rounded life:
Plays the piano.
Straight A's in school.
Loves to curl up with a good book.
Active in the Girl Scouts and her church.
Loves to run, loves to win, and is focused on short term goals.
She is not from the US, but lives here. Her parents realise she is a kid, they don't push her, she wants to do it.
You, on the other hand are a fool and a worthless excuse for a human being. You jump to conclusion and judge without knowing the facts. How can an 11 year old be focused? Ask the thousands that run on youth track clubs, or their coaches. Go see the J.O. National Championships in track or Cross Country. Ask Jordan Hasay, Mary Slaney, or the hundreds of aging former elites and regulars that competed a long time ago (in any sport for that matter). That's the answer to your stupid question.
Running is going out and playing.
Parent or not, like I said, you are scary.
uh-huh, be afraid.
Send me some specifics - events of interest, ability, location - and I'll send along some options based on what I know of local clubs.

Here's a guy that doesn't get nearly enough credit for all the good work he does for the Boston running community.
Thanks, Steve.
