Hi...I posted a thread earlier asking about a pain on the ball of my foot which is I now know is neuroma. (Thank you to the previous posters =) )I am training for a marathon in june and was hoping to find out if anyone has any experiance just doing minimal mileage with this injury??? Is it ok to run? Can I keep doing my 12-15 mile runs on soft surfaces?
I am purchasing new shoes and metatarsal pads to help alleviate the problem. I just want to know if its safe to resume training so long as I am not putting an immense amount of intense training out there...ya know....just base runs??? Thanks.
