Dew point basically sums up the amount energy in the air due to the atmosphere's primary storage medium, water vapor. It's the dew point that makes it feel hot. I areas with low humidity like Eugene Oregon, you could easily run in the mid afternoon on a 90 degree day. You could do it on a 95 degree day. In fact, last year, it took a 101 and a 105 degree days to get the the dew point up to 65. That's hot, but a walk in the park compared to 77(DP) in Mombasa.
