My distance fitness and endurance coach weighs us every week before tough session. He maintains that the lighter we are the faster we perform over country for club. Anyone putting weight on has to wesr a rubber sweatsuit and ankle weights for the whole of the session(hillwork or reps). This is a killer and very uncomfortable. Has anyone else experienced this and is it correct to subject us to his regime? He has mentioned final cool down spending 4 minutes in a tub of ice water as well as punishment!
Is it worth it and should we complain, refuse or quit the club?
