Whether it be in a real boat or on a training machine indoors?
My wife and I bought a LifeCore rower (basically a magnetic, QUIET version of the Concept 2) as somethinng to supplement our running.
I've used it every other day for 2 months now. Wow. It is hard work (in a good way most of us here can appreciate).
I THINK I can notice a slight difference in my leg power, while my upper body seems thinner, but more defined. Overall, I think it was a good investent.
I'm just curious as to how many here row regularly and what your impressions are as it relates to your running.
