This is true of me as well, but not most of the world. With the advent of cheaper and chaper clothes, people don't save money on their clothing budget and put the savings to other uses, they just have an ever expanded definition of how many clothes are necessary since their former budget can buy more. Now it is consideed normal, or even necessary, to own enough clothing to have a different outfit for every day of a month. I argue that hte average person doesn't save money at Walmart, they just purchase more than was formerly deemed necessary. WHy limit yourself to one color of a given shirt when for the same money as before, you can buy them all? WalMart is great for spartan livers like me, but doesn't do much for most people.
Or if you are like my wife, you go into Walmart for one thing (groceries, a prescription) and leave with more than you intended to buy "because it was cheap".
