What is all this crap on your site?
Soulmate Calculator? Find your Soulmate's name?
What kind of crap are you peddling on your site?
Also, is it just me, or did the ads quadruple on this site over the past 3 weeks...?

shut up fag, hes just trying to make some cash after a great man gave him some equally great advice
hey, wejo, i want access to that soulmate calculator!!!! why doesn't it ever come up for me? i'm never going to meet anyone!
fwiw, you tend to tune out the ads after a while, so good for you on utilizing your site to make some extra cash . . . THAT WAY IT REMAINS FREE TO US.
thanks wejo!
I think the ads follow key phrases in the threads, so look for "girl friend advice" or "why can't I meet girls" or "PowerPoint."
Holy crap, i got the soulmate calculator at the bottom of the page when I posted that. Cool.
VAAM.
There have always been ads on the message boards. I just changed the type of ads somewhat recently and want people's feedback. I've been allowing more google ads.
The soulmate stuff comes from google. I don't determine what ads they serve on the site. So "Soulmate" is the highest paying ad from their formula for letsrun.com. Must fit someone's demographic.
If someone hates a particular ad besides this one let me know.
Maybe I should just put up a link, "support letsrun.com" have our shoe partners, and a few other things that people use on the internet say like orbitz. Then if fans of the site just bought their shoes from our partners and booked their flights and hotels we'd be set. Most of the advertisers, like shoe stores, etc pay us a % of sale, so we don't make anything if you don't buy anything.
With the google ads some people pay for the brand exposure or per click.
The ads are extremely innocuous (sp?) and don't get in your way at all. If the only price of visiting is to have to scroll past an ad, BFD.
Do what you want, Wejo, it's your site.
that read champion ad was annoying so i reduced the size of some of the ads up top. I could block champion from advertising but that only means someone else who is willing to pay less can advertise.
Vaam no more.

It told me my soulmate is a man in Ohio who plays keyboards.
The ads don't bother me at all, make all the money you want, I was kidding.
Good for you, add more ads if it makes you more money, you know we will still come here.
Just promise you won't do those annoying ads that make you wait through a commercial to see the next page, those would keep me away.
I just thought the Soulmate Calculator was hilarious.
As an act of good faith, I am going to click an ad every time I refresh a page, that way you make more money.
If you click on an ad every time, google will get suspicious.
Just click through the things that are interesting and support our partners.
For example, you need to buy something from amazon, click throught the link at the bottom (even if you don't want to buy the product shown).

since you asked....
weight loss product ads at the bottom of a thread on hypothryoidism propetuates the idea that that hypothyroidism is an excuse for being overweight.
if someone is truly hypothryoid and are treated, weight should no longer be an issue. if they are not treated, any weight loss products aren't going to help anyway since the metabolism is not functioning properly.
i'd also bet that 99 percent of the readers on the board do not have a weight problem and know that whatever these ads are are selling is garbarge so they wouldn't be buying the stuff anyway.
He's gonna need all that money to pay me the 100,000 for getting perfect in the fl prediction contest
i think some adult friend finder ads are in need on this site
Wejo,
Definitely keep the Google ads or do whatever will bring in the top dollar. We appreciate the service you provide and are more than willing to have a few ads on the screen.
If I type in "Kenya cross country," will an ad pop up for fake birth certificates?
