This just in:
The following are the official results for this year's NAIA 2006 Cross Country National Championships. I know they haven't run the race yet, but through a peculiar vortex reinhancment from the winter soltice chart of elements...a synap co-axial modulation created a sort of "pre-linear global time fold" where snippets of events are seen before they actually happen. Last time I remember it was during the Truman/Deway presidential election. Anyway, I have seen a tape delay recording of this year's race. Here's what happened: I don't like it anymore than you do, but I won't argue with science.
1) VIC-I wish this weren't true. I'm a big GSAC fan. But those guys just have too many horses. It is a close race, but they win again.
2) Concordia, California-They lose by just a little but run a great race. You guys can be proud. Handler gets seventh.
3) Aquinas-Again, I'm not particularly happy about this, but its what I saw. None of them did spectaculary but their top 5 all bunched up around 20-60th.
4) Azusa Pacific-Rono and a supporting cast of pale white guys run a good race.
5) Cal-State-San-Marcos-4th and 5th is decided by only several points.
Aron Rono beats David C. from VIC and some runner from Mid-something (I couldn't read the jersey very well) by 10 seconds. It looked like Rono was wearing street shoes, for crying out loud!
Finally, and I saw this as clear as yesterday: The squad from Mariposa School of Applied Textiles shows up at the meet. They actually make it all the way to the starting line before officials ask them to leave. There is a lot of commotion and booing, which delays the race for several minutes. Finally, a compromise is struck, allowing them to run if they will agree to clean up after the award's ceremony. Three of their runners finish...and a good time was had by all...I hope you all enjoy the race as much I did...
