4 weeks until first half marathon. What are the best workouts / paces to hit before starting taper?
most runs are fairly relaxed (8:30-9:30), but been hitting longer intervals (2 x 4 miles, 3 x 2 miles, etc.) at 6:35-6:45 pace. If everything goes right, hope to run around there on race day. I can’t decide if I should be trying to hammer faster paces in last few weeks to build speed reserve or if I should just be spending max time at race pace.
