Hello I hope to get some suggestions from this post… I am a high school junior girl. Whose main events are the 800m and 1600m. It is the middle of the season right now and I have already PR’d with a 5:28 in the 1600m about 3 and a 1/2 weeks ago. Since then I have got the same time of 5:40 or close to 5:40 every race. I’m afraid I have peaked to early. What would y’all suggest I do. I’m thinking of sitting out my next meet to focus on recovering because it might be fatigue. Any suggestions?
