Not shocked. Adidas offered more and he is likely to stay with Mike Smith and his former teammates after college.
Why would it be shocking? I don’t follow. NAU is an adidas school. I would be more surprised if he didn’t sign with adidas. Hopefully more NIL deals will follow for him.
And get less money for sh*ttier shoes? No, I'm not shocked.
Here are the only schools I've seen people sign with On from:
Stanford (x5? - a lot)
Harvard (x1)
Notre Dame (x1)
I guess including Notre Dame is a bit debatable, but it's a far better school than NAU
I'm not in on the bit. I'm only assuming it is some type of homophobic comment because this is letsrun, but I still don't get the connection.
I feel like you might be way to entrenched with a pretty small circle that you think more people know about your weird obsessions with companies you deem gay that nobody else knows about.
what?
Not sure what you're going on about, weirdo. OP probably thought it would be ON since Nico's brothers are both signed On NIL athletes.
NAU is Adidas sponsored, so it's just less of a headache to not have to worry about juggling sponsored gear and school gear.
He also had his best results in Adidas gear (afaik) so maybe he doesn't even want to swap to ON
I would have been more shocked if he DID sign an NIL deal with On.
