No such thing. The most cancerous one is kofuzi.
I do watch both of these and while they are nice personalities, I'd say that Michela isn't a very competitive athlete unfortunately & Adam doesn't seem to understand his training and is at a loose end it seems, holding onto bits of advice from Rory L.
RunnerHabs I believe is a completely unlikeable person. He is very self absorbed, always has a million excuses and won't stop talking/moving his hands like he's just walked out of watching an anime movie. The delusion on this guy with some of the unproven claims he's made about his fitness and abilities are wild.

It's funny to me reading through this thread to see how divisive these people are. When I first started seeing The Woods and Habs on my feed, my intial thought was they were just washed D1 jv runners trying to gain clout and sell training plans to high school kids, but they've both changed my mind since following their OTQ chases. Again, I only see them pop up on my reels and FYP so I don't follow them or watch everything but they've managed to make a good impression on me from those.
I think I can also respect that they are runners with some talent but not enough to really be pro level and they understand that but are still willing to push themselves to see if they can squeeze out whatever they've got. This is in stark contrast to the problem I have with most running influencers, who seem to have no understanding of where they stand on the running food chain and always try to inflate their achievements. I really can't tell you the number of people I've seen lately who are college kids running like high school JV times but talking about their journey to being elite or even making the Olympics. Sometimes it does circle back around and the truly delusional people are funny to follow in a sort of trainwreck way.
Check me out. I have some good tips on tiktok/insta.
I don’t know enough to name a good one, but I can say that when I think of people like this, I figure that:
1. I would never try to bump into somebody’s selfie stick during a race.
2. If I did, I would genuinely feel bad.
3. it’s nevertheless the running-related mishap I would probably feel least bad about.
Every influencer is a loser. And so is everyone who watches them. People like that probably like "watching" in the bedroom as well, if you know what I mean.
I used to like Ben Barrows although he doesn't post anymore. I appreciated his no-nonsense attitude and he gives fairly solid training advice and detailed breakdowns of his successful training blocks. He also doesn't have the over the top influencer "personality" which some may find as more of a negative than positive.

Ben was the only person I could think of who is unanimously loved but that's because he's like the inverse of an influencer. Made videos purely for fun and document his running journey and lived like a true distance running bum: working a grad assistant job, meal prepping at Aldi, and documenting his journey in a purely analytical way to help people learn from his approach. The slide down from these types of videos and classic TAS vlogs to the current crop of Shoetubers and Matt Choi's is totally depressing. What scares me even more is that it's never been more popular and I'm always surprised how many people I know enjoy these characters!
Check out Rory Linkletter . . . although I don’t think you can be considered an influencer if you have the Olympic standard.
Rory Linkletter has some good stuff but not a influencer.
