How does labor from Mexico to Central America to South America help U.S. economy? 1) Provides an abundance of laborers; 2) Keeps labor cost down; 3) Reduces upward inflationary pressure.
Really, The migration is adding to the labor force? Who is easily manipulated now. Where I'm from the orchards and farmers really on these laborers and many travel up from the south seasonally. These people are phenomenal workers and great for America. What we see at the borders now is not really looking to labor.

In eastern Washington state there is a very long history of using Mexican labor to work in the apple orchards and other agriculture industries. Some of the people who work are migratory but others settle in an area and raise their families there. Eastern Washington is very right leaning Republican. They may follow the Republican platform on many issues but when it comes to enforcing laws on employing illegal labor they get very quiet. They know that without this labor their business is doomed.
