I've made some great progress over the past 12 months, broke 16 minutes over 5km for the first time in Feb and ran HM in 1:13 earlier this month.
I'm running 60-80km a week, a mix of easy, club workouts and long run, and getting in one strength session a week. But I have not been able to translate my progress on road into cross country at all this season, and have been finishing miles back, feeling weak and slow in every race.
Keen to hear what I can do to improve in XC. Spending more time running on that terrain sounds like an obvious start but does anyone have any XC-specific sessions that work for them?
