I confess it is throwing me off. Apparently ARC trainers make you immune to fatigue.

H'm. My assumption is that she is maxed out in terms of training. But even an arc trained athlete is supposed to show fatigue after a huge effort. It was odd even when she lost. But she will come back and gun it again tomorrow like nothing has happened, guaranteed.
What is up with the giant bruises on both of her thighs?
Tuohy NEVER dominated Valby.
NCAA XC '21 - Tuohy by 7.2 seconds
NCAA East Prelim 5000m '22 - Tuohy by 1.93 seconds
NCAA Champs 5000m '22 - Tuohy by 1.71 seconds
NCAA XC '22 - Tuohy by 3.2 seconds
NCAA East Prelim 5000m '23 - Tuohy by 2.43 seconds
But Valby dominated Tuohy.
Nuttycombe '23 - Valby by 12.3 seconds
NCAA XC '23 - Valby by 27.8 seconds
I have no idea. I give up trying to figure her out. If she can run in the low 14:40s she will be a contender.
You are leaving out a few. Don't read too much into 2023 XC nationals.
Came here to laugh at the angry Astro replies, was not disappointed.
Certainly not Kate Tuouy.
I am raising valid points. Tell you all what. If tomorrow she shows any actual fatigue I will admit my error. I guarantee she does not. BC of the ARC trainer or something.
But you show no fatigue with your posting. Are you doping or is it the ARC trainer which permits your tireless performances?
Nothing is "left out." Those are all the head-to-head matchups they have ever had and you know it to be true. But don't let facts get in the way of posting your falsehoods.
It’s just so predictable, I log onto Letsrun click on a Valby thread and find multiple astro posts.
I guess in this day and age, maybe it’s nice to have such reliable things in life. Tomorrow may not be promised, you never know what can be taken away from you. But one thing they can’t take away from me is Astro posts on every Valby thread. Thankful for this gentle reassurance that everything is in fact going to be okay.
You don’t think after tonight she’s perfectly capable of going 10 secs faster after tonight (particularly in a fast field on the European circuit outdoors)?
💯 you are catching on
the interview is so funny
she is only drinks kombucha, no water
I had the same questions from early on. Even when she was losing over and over. Then here we are, with people trying to explain that her going all out at Nationals for a college record when she is doubling makes any normal sense and that her never tiring is due to the ARC trainer. Ok. Cool.
If they are circular that's a result of cupping therapy.
You guys keep telling me I am imagining things, and that she is training so much harder than everyone else. Well OK. Then her growth potential would be limited. But I have still never seen her show normal levels of fatigue once.
She does look like she’s doing the ARC trainer when she runs. Her form definitely reflects the training she does.
For your doping allegations.. well, it’s incredible what she’s doing, but times are so much faster for everyone now. All those HS kids coming through with times that would have been prodigy-level only a few years back..some using these alternative training methods now too. Maybe, just maybe, there’s something to it (along with shoes etc).
