In another thread, someone claimed Sara Hall is out. Can anyone confirm that?

Here is the race director. Maybe give her a call??
There are also a couple of guys pacing 20k-25k of the marathon for a workout that will be competing at the trials in three weeks.
Weather looks hit and miss right now for Sunday morning in Houston.
I am not sure there are any Americans who can pace for 20k-25k as a workout. That is pretty much all out for them.
Mo Ahmed has dropped out as well according to a tweet by David Monti
Darn it I was looking forward to his Debut
Sara Hall's agent Josh Cox has confirmed to LetsRun he's out of the race. He said she's very, very fit right now but is working through some hip tightness and they didn't want to take any risks with the Olympic Trials just three weeks away.
I have a feeling Galen will just run at 62 and say he was just doing a tempo before the trials. I doubt he will try to hang with the E. Africans.
The weather report keeps changing. Some are forecasting 30s and north winds at 15, with higher gusts with the cold front hitting as soon as the gun goes off. Others have the front arriving mid day to early afternoon, with lighter winds out of the east and temps in the 40s.
So Mo Ahmed will now run The Ten only presumably, skipping all road races, World XC and indoors?
Well you would wrong. They requested a 1:04 half if the conditions are decent.
Will be interesting how Bienenfeld will perform.
This is the way of the Jerry, young man.
What shoes will Galen be racing in?
A) Original Alphafly
B) Alphafly 3 Proto color
C) Alphafly 3 unreleased Volt color
I think he is breaking out a brand new pair of Chuck Thomases for the race. Don't expect any flashy color.
Weather is looking pretty solid. Saturday would be better but 40s & low dew point. Will be windy but you can get 50/60 & humid at this race.
Good ol' Streak LT's, the way God intended
Right now, timing will be everything. If the front arrives around 9 am, then conditions will be pretty amazing. Temps in the low 40s with moderate winds out of the NE. If the front hits a few hours earlier, temps will actually drop from the 40s into the 30s and winds will be brisk with some 20 mph gusts and a stead 10-15. Either way, you can't beat the cold temps especially these days when so many fall and spring races end up with 60s and 70s.
Kelati can be The American Record Holder in the Half and Full Marathon, better Speed than Sisson or D'Amamato and being Small helps in the Half and Marathon (Especially the Marathon) so this Debut is VERY Interesting
Sisson is a little faster in the 10000, but 8:32 for Kelati shows her speed, She will do great things on the Roads where she excels
Predictions for Kelati?
