looking at class AAA section 1 these are the runner i think the might make it to state
rowan moser byant: he had a great outing at the kya indoor track classic running a 10:08, yes he'll need to improve that time a great deal before heading to HVA in may but that defintly a good start for the karns jounir.
Evan beller: had a good track season helping farragut make it to state in the 4x800 running a 1:58 split but look for him to Quailfy for state in an indiviual event
For the indoor season as a whole, do you think any TN runners can break 4:10? Ramer has gone 4:13, Bowen has gone 4:15 and Smith hasn't raced the mile at all this season, just went 1:55 in the 800.
For indoor or outdoor state meet? for outdoor idk if Rowen Moser Bryan can make it. Depends on who runs, but rn that 10:08 places him 11th among returners. Even if you limit it to 3 per school like it will be at the Sectional, he still is 11th. if Tonnos, Ebbert, Cunningham, Crum, and Mussard run he won't have a shot. He needs a lot of people to hold out of the 3200 in favor of the shorter events.
Owen Clemons is back, after missing the entire XC season.
He ran a 1:56 in the 800
honestly thought i would would say that rowen has a chance to beat cade
I think all of those will go under 4:10 including several others.
if Cade's healthy? Cade ran 9:25 two years ago, if he's in shape he's good. even if he beat cade though, he still would have to beat one of Tonnos, Ebbert, Cunnningham, or Mussard. Harrison might be the slowest of those four but he still has beat Moser Bryan every time they've raced head to head
Cade hasn't run at full potential in a long time
hey i was saying that in more of an upset situation, also karns might have a decent 4x800, wonder if they will run it at kil could win it going off of last years kil 4x800 winners
who would be on that relay? ik the moser bryan twins would be on it but who else, and what do they run? just curious cuz idk much about their 4x800
the bowin twins, like i don't think there going to be a relay the could compete to go to state but if you have rowen and rylan going 2 flat other other would only have to go about 2:10 and one of the other twins went 2:13
I also think schools like knox west and knox central may be team that would run 4x800 at kil and could possible take the win
Keegan Smith - 4:13 mile
Impressive race, went out a little hot and got outleaned but he qualified for Milrose.
southern showdown in coming up, any thoughts
Keegan Smith - 9:06 2 mile
any thought on states coming up, who do you thinks going to win the mile, 800, and 2 mile
Keegan Smith runs 4:09 for 4th at Millrose Games!
Hey I was wanting to run steeple chase this season and trying to go after the nike nationals itme which is 6:45, i'll be able to run in during the season at the vol classic, and after season at the region 2 aau and music city track classic. I was wondering if there was any other meets during the season the run steeple chase within 4ish hours of knoxville
Thanks
Oak ridge host a 2k or 1500m steeple during some home meets which would be good practice and there might be ways to qualify using those as well.
