27yo hobby joger here,
Used to train 3x a week for the past 2 years, and 10 weeks ago I started to ramp it up to 6-7 days a week.
I think I ramped it up too fast going from 20-25mpw, to 35-40mpw in 4 weeks, but I still was careful, I barely increased the intensity by adding 3-4 mile tempo run, the rest of the runs are basically the same speed, conversional pace 80% of the time.
The thing is for the past 5 weeks while I was adding the milage, the legs felt really good. Some days after the long run usually, I felt a bit tired, but it was like a "good tired", and a few days later I was again feeling great.
But now for the past 10 days I don't know why but I feel a bit weaker. Even though I stopped adding milage for now, and even decreased to 30 miles for a week.
