Everyone's eyes are on Kipchoge. I'm hoping he'll run 2:00:45 or thereabouts, as I think this is what he would have run a year ago if he hadn't gone hard and chased two hours flat.

Kipchoge to win, unless Kenny B is there. I've seen uncomfirmed rumours on social media that he'll be running Berlin, anyone got info on this? One was even claimed to be based on the Berlin marathon app, anyone got it and can confirm/deny?

Bekele will try to keep up with Kipchoge and around 25km will realize he can’t handle the pressure pace and DNF. Kipchoge will learn to keep running better in the 2nd half with 1st half in 59:57 and 2nd half in 59:45 to break 2 hours since he saw Kiptum was able to do that so he should be able too.

Not sure of this, Kiptum and Kipchoge will both go to Paris 2024. Tactically, I imagine Kipchoge having the edge (assuming he is fit enough). Of all marathoners, I would love him to be the first to take three Olympic golds
Could we have two WRs in the same year in the same event? Kipchoge could take it in Berlin before Kiptum comes and does it better?
Kiptum already said he won't try to break the WR in Chicago because he started training late and he feels his body is fatigued.
Next year Is Olympics year, so no Berlin for Kiptum and that means Kipchoge's WR will last at least for two more years.
Considering the time he ran in London (and I'm pretty sure he wasn't pacing particularly well there), if conditions were favourable etc, I think he could WR without specifically trying to. But obviously unlikely given everything.

Kiplimo is one of the pacers. It will be interesting to see how he behaves after 30K,might he be tempted to finish the race if he is feeling strong perhaps and get a quick debut time,maybe even a win or second position?
A race with Kipchoge and Kipruto is always interesting. Something dramatic could happen.
I will be paying close attention to the women. I think someone could fly under the radar and break the women world record while all the spotlight is on the men.

Yes but he was in perfect shape the day he ran in London. This time is said "i started training late". He is not even running a sub 2h03'.
