NBC announcers called it an upset. Never mind that Wanyonyi is ranked #1 in the world and had already beaten Arop in three DLs this season, including post-Worlds in Xiamen.
I’m glad Arop broke 1:43 and got the Canadian NR. He’s a consistent force and I’ve always liked him, but I was starting to worry he’d get stuck at 1:43.2.

I want to go one day—I like a venue where every seat is pretty good and athletes don't look like ants. Think I've figured out that you need to book a hotel as soon as the event is announced but then wait on tickets the week of to get them discounted.
