I said get out before, but I do support your plan. The therapy could help you both understand her feelings. Maybe even improve the situation. By the way I'd rec eri kardos' YouTube video about this. If she shows willingness to try to mix thing up, and you do too. And none on this stuff works, just let it go. There's other partners out there you'd both fit nicely with. She deserves to feel sexual attraction in her life too and if it can't be with you, best to accept it.

How many times have you heard don't try and change someone. You ignored her low sex drive before the marriage and expected her to change by marriage. I can assure you taking her to counseling is still expecting her to change. Now that you've learned the hard way not to expect to change someone and accept them for who they are I'm sure you'll figure it out. Go to a quiet room and pull the curtains shut.
I would guess he doesn’t even know her cycle! He should get some at least thrice a month where her estrogen levels are high🤣
In all seriousness I wouldn't put up with 2 weeks of celibacy let alone 2 years. The time to put your foot down is long past. You deserve better than you're getting.

Bump
Not to worry; after 30 years w/o it you won't care.
Bump. OP, did you get some?
It's definitely her and not you.
Here is an idea for you. Get a see-through container. Put a hole in the top, every time you have sex have her put in a dollar and you put in a dollar. (Every so often put it in a separate bank.) Then after a year see how much money you have. You might try having short term goals such as "let's make $6.00 this month." If that approach is not producing results give her an ultimatum. One of her marital duties is to have sex with you.
So prostitution? It's so crazy it just. Might. Work.
I said to the husband, "when did you notice that she was dead?". He replied, "well the sex was the same, but the dishes started to pile up"...
