Men in a sexless marriage, what do you do? My wife and I have been together for 5 years, and married for 2. We had sex sparingly when we dated, but I always thought marriage would light the spark. It’s been a year and a half since we had sex. She has no desire, doesn’t care, and has a low sex drive. I feel lost, alone, and confidence is at an all time low. What do I do
Have you had an honest and open conversation with your wife about this? How it makes you feel? Have you tried any lubes or toys or o-shot type stuff that may arouse her more? Etc? Do either of you want kids… because, if so… obviously that takes sex.
As a guy who has been thru this, my only question to you is: Have you tried talking to her about this?
If the answer is yes and she doesn't want to talk about it, get out now. My ex wife refused to talk about it with me...with a doctor...a therapist..anyone.
I stayed way too long and tried way too hard for too long. Never pressured her into it.
I'm not kidding about this. It's not going to get better unless she wants to change.

You have fallen into the trap (for men) of marriage. Now you're miserable. You lost the gamble of marriage already and if you do divorce the financial implications will be added. But perhaps there's no other recourse to save your sanity. You must take responsibility for falling into the trap first and foremost. Once you admit you lost the gamble of marriage, didn't have the foresight or restraint to avoid it and failed, you can begin the recovery process.

Changing the perspective on this - she gets all the sex that SHE wants. Seems rather selfish doesn't it?

Get a therapist.
But if she rescoups her sex drive towards you, she's definitely cheating on the side. Take note of that.

Among the answers here, this is unfortunately the best one. If you love her and otherwise want to be with her except for this issue, it’s time to separate church and state. Find state elsewhere outside the celibate sanctity of home, and keep her in the loop that that is what you need.
