The journalists involved in this appear very respectable. The whistle-blower is a respected US government intelligence official who was part of the official team reporting to Congress on UAPs. He apparently has documents and such that back his claims and will present them to Congress.
BTW, the ideas that octopuses DNA literally came from an asteroid or meteor, and that panspermia is the origin of life on Earth, are scientific hypotheses.
It’s one guy. Still not a single shred of evidence. Show us the “non-terrestrial” evidence. Where is it? Lots of hearsay and stories but never any hard evidence because it doesn’t exist. All we have is fuzzy video of smudges that could be many things (the least of which is extra-terrestrial aircraft) and crazy stories.
So government agencies all over the world have been keeping all these alien spacecrafts a closely guarded secret for decades? How? And why in the world would any aliens care enough about our stupid planet to send ships or probes all the way out here? Interstellar travel is a zero sum game.
I’m short, yes. Why secrets? engineered tech allows for lopsided war advantage. Why travel to Earth? Metals, resources, and likely have already been living/visiting here a lot longer than you or I. What would be the point of humans traveling to Antarctica? There’s your answer.

There's more resources floating around the asteroid belt alone than anywhere on earth. And there's infinitely more available along the way from any other star system. Aliens wouldn't come here for resources.
these days just about everything is a grift. A money maker. I suspect that is going on here with this "whistleblower".
But it will get people that are into this stuff excited. But think about this.. For another life form to be able to reach earth with a vehicle of some type, they would have to be exponentially so far more advanced that humans. Why? they would have to travel for millions of light years and somehow sustain themselves and their life activity doing so. I know, I know. Star Trek "beam me up" yada yada yada.
Worm holes, as well as the ability to bend space/time- ie element 115, allowing the ability to “fall forward”. This changes the game. In addition, I would venture to guess that some of what is seen are unmanned probes/drones. Is it too much to fathom that a different race is “exponentially more advanced than humans”?
The likelihood of a credentialed officer becoming a false wistleblower, intentional or not (he could be insane or just dumb?) to me far outweigh the likelihood that life more advanced than humans are actively visiting us secretly and US government has been keeping physical evidence of the visits under wraps to this point.

Oh, stop. How would you even know what another race would be looking for? At that, how would you even know that there’s “infinitely more available along the way”? Think bigger.

I think if you were thinking bigger you'd understand that a species capable of interstellar travel would probably have the technology to make any element they needed with resources found long before they got to earth.
And it's already well known that there's vast resources in the asteroid belt. NASA estimated their worth at $700 quintillion.
That was also in 2013 so in Biden dollars the value is well into the octillions.
It only make sense in a universe of this size that we would be visited eventually. The liberals will do everything they can to cover it up, of coruse. It goes against their agenda and narrative.

Yes, the person who posted before is right. It is quite arrogant to try to view it through our own lens. We often assume we are the most advanced of all! LOL. I don't know if there is alien technology - I would suspect this isn't, quite honestly. But aside from that:
There are 10,010,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 i.e. 10^25 plus 10^28 maybe more, maybe less (jk) planets and that is assuming that aliens live on planets which are a small proportion of everything.
Ohhhh but humans must be the only form of life, of course! In this space vaster than our comprehension. We are, aren't we? Aren't we?
Of the planets closest to us, or moons, we know that several have: (liquid) water, hydrogen, carbon, other elements, energy etc. Again, looking for life in our own image. Of all of the planets out there? No one here knows, that's for sure.
I don't think alien life would resemble anything remotely like the images that are popular. Of course, people know that but one can wonder if it can go even further than that. Would we even be able to see or hear them? Some assume they would exist in ways familiar to us, on our visual spectrum. Given that even species on earth have massive differences in that kind of thing, I sincerely doubt it.
If an alien race, hypothetically speaking, was advanced enough to reach earth, it would not be a good thing, I can tell you that much.
