If running isn't "inherently" interesting to you then of course videos of an elite team training won't be "inherently" interesting.
On running's IG has over a million followers. That's not ineffective. But, since you're a big time guy in the industry, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how to effectively market a running team.
I would start by having an up-to-date team page on On's site.

So what's the point of "marketing" a running team? What exactly is OAC selling us? Nothing. Again, these videos are self serving, with OAC (and others) thinking too highly of themselves that anyone is interested in watching people doing repeats on a track. Wow!! People running - that's novel!
So you don't think apparel companies should sponsor runners? What's the point?

The ON running account is where apparel is advertised. Ritz and team running around in a circle with no branding or visible apparel as a focus is not marketing. They’re not promoting the products. Sorry. Poor marketing effort.

As an aside I was thinking that for all of those who think the very best East African athletes are doping, - when one of them moves to the USA to further their training it gives insight into the doping speculation. If her running prowess continues at its lofty height then I guess it could be considered that there was no doping in Kenya. Of course the hardcore cynics will claim she is still doping despite the move to the USA. I’m surprised there hasn’t been more discussion and focus on performance pre and post move from East Africa- USA
