I've seen Brosnan hanging out with several of the PAC-12 coaches at various meets. I don't think that means they are necessarily "close" it's just that coaches often talk to each other, that's all. And Brosnan is a pretty talkative guy.
It seems Brosnan is very Friendly with Jerry Schumacher and the Powell’s. I’ve seen Brosnan talking with Jerry for long periods of time. Almost like they ignore everyone else and talk. I was on the track at Bryan Clay and Jerry waved Brosnan over and Jerry was looking around if anyone else could see him and was telling Brosnan something that made Brosnan looked shocked. They definitely know each other well. I agree Brosnan seems to know the Powell’s also, but Brosnan always talking with Jerry and being seen on the Nike campus is a bit alarming. If Brosnan is at Nike Nationals in Eugene this weekend look and see who he’s with. I can bet you he will be with the top Nike executives for a good part of the meet. He always has something up his sleeve.

Brosnan was in the Nike suite during the meet multiple times during my three days. At least that’s what I saw
Oh my goodness! Coaches being friendly with each other. Spending time and enjoying hospitality from sponsors and outfitters. This means something! Something suspicious.
A lot of university coaches were at NON this weekend. I counted 6-7 from Michigan. Diljeet Taylor was there. Brosnan, The Powells, Oregon staff, Washington State, Arkansas, North Carolina A&T, and countless others. Is it shocking that a heavy concentration of high school talent attracted a lot of top NCAA coaches? I bet many were in Philly, too.
This isn't high school where a bunch of tubby grey haired old men hold grudges, give each other side eye, and talk sh** about rival programs. College coaches are largely professional and collegial. They can be rivals and still be friendly with one another. They all network with each other and many worked together at other schools as they rose through the ranks. After age 25 or so, you find that petty beefs and pointless di** swinging contests are stupid and reflect poorly on you. People remember and if you work in a small industry like college coaching, your reputation merits consideration for jobs or a lack thereof.

Same colleagues that bad mouth each other to HS recruits and HS coaches?

What in the world are both these posts talking about.
yes, many college coaches are at HS National meets. That’s part of their job. Who cars who they hangout with.
Why do we care if some dude was seen at nike or was talking to some other coaches? I just don't understand the infatuation.
Because Brosnan and his Newbury Park mafia post on this website CONSTANTLY. They are desperate to make him seem smarter, more important, and more famous than he really is.
They want us to think Jerry and Brosnan are going to create form a super group called the Avengers. Next it's going to be Brosnan is seen talking to a tall blonde man holding a hammer.
