What is the infatuation with all the "Kenyan born" stuff when talking about the men's race. This is a US Championship. The athletes competing are American as you or I. What value does it add by pointing that out as much as you do?
Hard to believe, or maybe not, that the Young brothers would get the lead hype in the U20 race, when they were nowhere at NXN relatively, and Marco Langon was 4th in the NCAA Mid Atlantic Region an a just turned 18 year old , I think in September? A true Freshman, at Villanova, and 30 places ahead of Colin Sahlman at the NCAA National Meet. To be fair, I guess, he is mentioned in the last sentence. And the Youngs and NP sell, I guess is the takeaway here. Many know I am a NJ and 'Nova homer..LOL. so, half kidding.

He seems like a good one. I hate how she is thrown around on here all the time, but that birthday makes him 11 months younger than Colin Sahlman. His future looks bright.

I have seen him only on Video really..I think he is going to be a really good one. Saw his 4:04.x mile At Armory, I think? and an 8:48 3200 on Flat 200M Toms River bubble, beating a very very good Jackson Barna, quite easily in that one.

Can any of the down votes tell me what value it adds putting in where athletes were born & making a point to do it multiple times? It's overkill the way they do it. It's self-serving/agenda driven. These are the US XC Champs. I want to be excited about the race. Lots of fast athletes and it's Kenyan born this Kenyan born that. Everyone immigrated here.
Grew up in RVA. Hope the US sends good teams to Bathurst. Won't be as hard as Aarhus but it will have hills, mud, heat and probably windy.
Pole Green is Board flat and will still be firm despite the rain Im guessing. IT's the same place where the milestat.com HS meet is held......Where about 70% of runners pr.
Well they (those that make the team) will be in for a shock when they arrive in Australia. Just ask those that went to Denmark in 2019. Hills, mud, and heat will be awaiting those next month.
My sleeper pick to make the senior women's team is Jessa Hanson. She had a strong race at Manchester over Thanksgiving, and I think 10k cross country will suit her well. She's an athlete I'll be watching to see if she can pick up a shoe contract over the next year.
Well, I guess we didn't have to wait long! Hanson will be repping Puma at tomorrow's race.

Closet racists/white nationalists love it, it’s clearly a dog whistle for them.
Never seen this before: Michael Wardian ran the Community 6K at 9 am, finishing 2nd in 20:18.9, then just about 2 hours after finishing, ran the Masters 8K at 11:30 am, finishing 12th in 27:29.
