No, but they did have two state champs - Thress in the 800 and the 4x800. Where was Kikbourne's 4x800? And why does Smith seem to drop out of big races all the time? State XC, Eisenhart, district track last year...
Kilbourne is ready to rumble for outdoor season. Trust me, I have a firsthand experience of the types of workouts these guys are doing, and I can say with confidence that Kilbourne WILL be going sub 8:00 in the 4x800.
To be fair, they ran 7:58 last year with mostly sophs. Miller and Smith are studs.
That's good to hear. Needless to say, it will take a strong effort to clear that SE Ohio Regional to get to the state meet.
I hope Kilbourne does it. I will root for them.
Agreed. I actually don't think think will. Its just too deep a region with Orange, Coffman, Lancaster, etc. And I dont think Kilbourne has much depth. As noted by the fanboy above, Smith is a 9:07 guy, and Miller has gone 4:18 and maybe 1:56/7, but after those two I'm not sure.

Also… Hawkins (11) - 16:00 5k XC / 4:25 1600. They also have a freshman Deisler who ran a 17:22 5K / 10:28 3200. Many people make huge jumps from freshman to sophomore year.
Mason has some very solid 1600 / 3200 times by the underclassmen Jerry Xu - 11 - 9:20 Will Buckalew - 10 - 9:59 Noah Kelly - 11 - 10:05 3200 / 4:49 1600 Alex Follmer - 11 - 10:15 Max Liao - 11 - 4:19 Brendan Roe - 11 - 4:34 Jason Xu - 10 - 4:38 Max Greco - 10 - 4:40

They will be deep during cross again next season
Mason is the double whammy of a great running culture and the biggest school in the state. It's no surprise this team reloads every year with incredible depth.
Cooper Citro just ran 10:03 in the 3200m. For someone of his supposed talent this is bad, but not unexpected after he peaked for the Indoor State championship. Sad to see talent wasted.

I don't think this is really a big deal: kudos to him for trying something different to open the outdoor season. He's an 800m runner and I don't view his 10:03 3200m as talent wasted. This is not his focus.
Let's see how he does in the 800m in the next couple of months and see if he can get into 1:51 territory.
He is a strong contender for the outdoor title . . . I mean, 0.14 of a second in indoor separated him from the champion, wow.
