Very impressive for 3 girls on the same team to run sub 5:10..in December! I was told about this new thread and so my post from the XC thread to this one:

Boys D1 3200m Prediction:

1. Ackley (If he decided to do the 3200, not the 1600)

2. Smith

3. Rice

4. Richutti

5. Shaugnessy

6. Rudraraju

7. T. Lanoy

8. Day

Listen, I love Central OH running as much as the you, but this is a little much. 7 guys can't even qualify out of region 3, so not only is your prediction ridiculously biased, it's impossible. No Copley? Trapp?

And... you do remember that Tommy Rice is the defending 3200 state champ, right?

To be fair, I think they were talking about indoor, where this would be possible. It’s maybe a little unrealistic, but I’d be surprised if there are less than 5 central Ohio guys on the podium.

Unfortunately, many of the "big" meets in Ohio are run on over-sized 300m tracks that are not recognizable for true record consideration. 200m or shorter are required for setting official records for running events longer than 60m.
