I believe the Cornwall coach might be the first to ever train two FL champions? Sandburg was the first school to do it but Verzbicas was coached by his parents I believe.
hardly devastated. delighted for Baloga. shes a fantastic competitor and a senior who burned for the victory in this and went out and took it despite all the pressure. happy for Shea too who ran a very fast second and should be back next year. sad for Sophia though... Hopefully shes not hurt.
Anyone know what happened to Bob Kennedy's daughter Sophia? She was 5th at 1 mile, 6th at 2 miles and ended upa DNF. Did she just go for broke? If so, I kind of love it.
I know it's probably really cool for the kids to have these introductions, but this is taking too long. They could speed this up a bit
I wrote the same thing last year. The introductions take forever and this isn't conducive to racing your best. Can you imagine being introduced first and then just standing there in the sun waiting... and waiting... and waiting...

The introductions are great, maybe shorten it but I think it's fine.
