I watched Lex's arm action- he was working too hard. Both Youngs were impatient. They knew the field was tough and thought they had to gap everyone, esp. Gorze, right away. They really miscalculated.

Wow, some interesting splits:
Mile 1: 4:33 / 4:33
Mile 2: 9:27 / 4:55
Mile 3: 14:10 / 4:43
Oddly enough, considering the last half mile for the Young brothers, NP lost no points over the final 1.1 mile - they had an 86 point lead. Great race to watch!
chill out with leo's performance, lex was questionable, but had leo been racing for second he would have easily secured that with how much he was able to gap the field in the last mile
Wow embarrassing mistake from the announcer. He said Colin salhman won in 2019. Fire this guy.
When is the last time that a guy who was 4th on his XC team got a Stanford (full ride) scholarship?
I was wondering if anyone else noticed that too. He got Nico and Colin mixed up apparently. Colin won in 2021, but that was at RunningLane not NXN. Embarassing mistake indeed.
PB for Seymour (on a tough course and on a windy day)
leo and lex in the medical tent. definitely makes sense for lex
CBA's team got hit with illnesses.
Getting an early start at running for Stanford at a national meet?
Lex & Leo not on stage for trophy!?!
Besides the Youngs NP actually ran quite well. I wonder if they were sick or something.
I've seem a couple posts about this school but I haven't seen the name before. Why is this so good?(genuinely curious)
Hope they are OK. Thanks.
Why aren't the Youngs on the podium?
They’ve been saying that they were in the medical tent
Doug Soles, the coach who took Great Oak from a random California school to national powerhouse and champion, is the new coach at Herriman

2nd time (in a row) that Leo jogs the last 400m
First time for Lex, but Lex jogged the last mile this time
We also so Doshi fall to the ground once this year 30m from end and jog it in quite a few times
Cantu lost 9 spots in the last quarter mile
Seymour was also dying regularly in the last 400m this season
…so it had pretty much been a constant all year.
The first time for Lex however
