You realize you're posting in support a position that is terrified of getting a vaccine... if that isn't propelling "propaganda," I don't know what is.
It's unfortunate that science and evidence-based medicine is so terrifying for you.
Not anymore they won't. The CDC further damages its credibility.
Why not? Do you think the CDC isn't a credible source of vaccine information and guidelines?
That's the antivaxx position which is supported exclusively by political dogma and not facts.
They've lost credibility in the states and localities that will inevitebly stop using the CDC schedule to determine their school requirements. It's not up to me.
I don't consider people who decline to get their kids vaccinated for covid to be anti-vaxxers. It's not anything like the MMR or hep vaccine. But people might stop getting those too if they start questioning the CDC schedule.
Eight point nine... Despite all the media and fraud "liberal" authoritarian lies. In New York City, the # is even less: 8 (eight) %.
But the CDC knows better-- and knows better than the western & northern European nations who have by now rejected kid vax entirely. #FollowScience hah hah

I don't agree that they've done anything to lose credibility (in this aspect -- they've made some mistakes in other places). Saying "the COVID vax is a hugely positive reward:risk for children" is 100% correct and is basically the standard they use for other vaccines. Chicken pox vax, for example... varicella killed about 100 people a year before the vaccine. Hep A killed basically no children pre-vax, etc.

What's the risk:reward ratio for a 6-month old? Or a 4-year old?
How effective are these other vaccines at stoping transmission, compared to the covid vaccines?
They won't lose credibility with *you*, but they might with many parents and school districts.

It's high for both. Especially younger children because they aren't risks for myocarditis! COVID puts young children in the hospital -- I posted data showing this earlier but it got deleted by mass reporting because people don't like facts. There's not doubt it has a positive risk reward.
The chickenpox vaccine does not provide 100% protection against infection. If you get a breakthrough infection you can transmit to others. The same as COVID. Studies put the varicella vax ~80% effective against infection and >98% against severe disease. Plenty of adverse effects (7/100 fever, 3/100 rashes).
Certainly I'd argue that you should get the mRNA vaccine targeted to the latest strain. I can't tell if your argument is that COVID is too low a risk to worry about vaccinating (obviously wrong given the diseases we already vaccinate against), or if the vaccines don't meet your threshold for efficacy (more acceptable but dubious given the transmissible and risk of COVID -- and the vaccines effectiveness against severe disease especially).
If people tried to roll out a mandatory chicken pox vaccine now all the COVID anti-vaxxers would be losing their minds. Imagine vaccinating against a disease that only kills a few dozen people a year in the US.
Lastly, sure, the CDC may lose credibility with uninformed people being fed propaganda. Is this partially the CDC's fault for not being able to break through the noise? Yes. Is it also the fault of the morons spreading propaganda because they can't see past political team sports? Absolutely. Politics causing a breakdown of faith in institutions is a real problem and the solution to this is gonna be one of the defining issues of the near future.
Please show me your evidence for this statement. Something that looks at vaccinated vs. unvaccinated, not the population as a whole.
No.
I and others have already done this several times.
Look into it yourself.
Easy enuff
I went back and read your old posts. The information you provided in your posts doesn't have any studies looking at vaccinated vs unvaccinated and I didn't see anything that was actually a respected journal article, most were news stories with unsubstantiated quotes.
This article is one of the pieces of "evidence" you provided. There's actually no evidence in the article.
Death certificate data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show excess deaths increased by more than 40% among Americans 18 to 49 years old during a 12-month period ending in October of 2021, and that COVID ca...
The article did provide the states with low and high excess deaths. I've added the vaccination rates (I'll use % fully vaccinated) by state to the lists from the article you provided. How do you explain the fact that the highest excess deaths are generally in the states with lowest vaccine rates? This shows the vaccine is killing people?
