The women’s 3k might be the race of the meet IMO, even with the withdrawal of Ejgayehu Taye. Faith Kipyegon vs. Francine Niyonsaba has enough intrigue by itself.
Neither did the libs...hero Brazier goes home devastated!
Well, looks like I got the winning time for the 200m right (19.72)... too bad I picked the wrong person.
Didn't get to watch the race yet, but - what on earth was that 800m?! 1:49 winning time and 1:50 for Brazier?? Sowinski took the 1500m out faster thru the first 400m than the 800m race... lol
How is picking the last place person (3:48) to get first (3:31) "very good"?
Kipsang ahead of Tim is like saying that Lyles would beat ADG. Nothing impressive about it Coevett.
He also predicted a big margin between Kipsang and Cheruiyot in terms of places and time, when they were the clear 1-2. Both guys should be pretty happy with the result. Tim is far from done based on pushing a guy who ran 3:31.0 at altitude to the line.
In the 800 Rowden ran fine for 4th, but that's not 1st.

It's all relative. Compared to other Coevett "predictions" this one wasn't that bad. Please consider that Coevett has to rank any white athlete ahead of any black athlete,
Wejo along with the other one, please donate my shirts to a couple of deserving kids who are into track. As I said, I’m sure they’ll make better LR brand ambassadors than me!😂
You do realize that picking a winning sprint time is just luck, right? Conditions affect things too much for any certainty.
