Post collegiate MD runner. 50mpw. Goal races in 1/2 months.
First COVID symptoms about 7 days ago, really didn’t feel symptomatic today. Have taken the last 3 days off.
Don’t feel any ill effects, but also don’t want to set myself behind in the recovery game. When should I start running again? Is doing a long run Sunday too early (day 9-10 since symptom onset, 4-5 after last symptoms)? And is starting workouts in another week enough time?
Seen enough scare stories to wanna approach this safely and smartly so I can crush my goal races. Thanks Letsrun!
