You're closely following the living history of a nation bravely resisting an imperialistic war of aggression that has inspired the world when, all of a sudden, you come across a picture of a Ukrainian soldier wearing a Totenk...
Nah… my family has a great time gathering around the big screen every night and watching video after video of hapless Russians getting blown to smithereens.
Did you see that Russian troops lost several weeks worth of gains around Bakhmut in a matter of days? F*cking hysterical. Hundreds of Wagner Nazis died taking those positions and then hundreds of Russian Army Nazis died defending them unsuccessfully. Bakhmut back in Ukrainian control by end of June?

I don't know what clown TV your retarded family watches, but Bakhmut is entirely taken by Russia.
But more importantly, enlist! And don't forget to wear a Go-Pro. We want to see the footage of you getting shot in the face by the pathetic Russians.
"Put simply, Ukraine doesn’t have the personnel or industrial capacity to replace their lost men and equipment in comparison to the Russians.
Ukraine is now faced with a world-class dilemma: should they use their last offensive capacity in a last gasp of hoping they inflict a grave wound on the Russians defending in the occupied territories or preserve them in case Russia launches a summer offensive of their own? There are serious risks with either course of action. I assess there is currently no likely path for Ukraine to achieve a military victory. Continuing to fight in that hope may perversely result in them losing even more territory."
.. Sad Reality: The Ukraine War Is Now Going Russia’s Way
Sad reality: You can't tell the difference between a news article reporting facts and an opinion article from an isolationist who is ill-informed about Ukraine. But since you quoted it, here's some selected quotes:
There has been no shortage of legitimate evidence to support the contention that throughout 2022 the Russian side performed much worse than most expected and that Ukraine performed better than anticipated. Russia’s initial battle plan was flawed at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
In contrast to Russian blunders, Zelensky’s troops initially performed well at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels such that Russia was forced into a major withdrawal of the bulk of its armored forces from Kyiv and Kharkiv barely a month into the war.
But even then, ample evidence began to pile up that tactically, there were still grave weaknesses in the Russian forces, such as the infamous May 2022 crossing of the Seversky-Donetsk river, which saw an entire battalion wiped out.
Russian leaders had been asleep at the wheel, focusing all of their attention on Kherson and literally ignoring Kharkiv, trying to secure their northern flank with a paltry number of minimally trained national guardsmen. Ukraine exploited this mistake and drove Russian troops back over 100km to the Svatavo-Kremenna line.
As of November 2022, it was fair to say the Russian general staff had been outperformed by the Ukrainian general staff.
If a numbskull with no information about Ukraine who thinks surrender is an option can figure this out, why can't you?
Otherwise, the author's whole argument is that Russia is bigger than Ukraine. He makes questionable guesses and assumptions about Ukrainian casualties but has no information of his own. He doesn't even consider the implications of Ukraine + Europe + NATO + sane countries around the world having a vastly larger combined industrial and defense capacity than Russia. He thinks giving Russia what it wants will bring lasting peace, as if that didn't prove to be an utter failure after 2014.
Even uninformed lobbyists for isolationism like him admit that Russia got its butt kicked in 2022.

Again, take your own advice and enlist with Wagner. Should those RussoNazis that your really care about their cause. Make sure you get a Swastika tattooed on your forehead to show them you’re all in! The 200 Rubles they pay you will be the best gift you give your family, at least until you’re killed.
Another day, another 500 Russian Nazis are dead and the internet abounds with their pathetic lives ending in giant fireballs. The RussoNazis, like the people that support them, are truly disgusting filth.

Your nonsense is boring to read. Just enlist already. I will buy you a Go-Pro if you do.

I’ll chip in and send your family an extra 100 Rubles If you enlist with Wagner. Otherwise, I’ll just continue watching your RussoNazis get obliterated like the worthless little scum they are. Why won’t you join them?
The more I think about Bakhmut as an air force and army airport, the wiser were my comments a day or two ago. Round trip, Russian assault helicopters cannot fly from 50 plus miles inside of Russian territory to Kiev but from Bakhmut, maybe not all the way to Kiev and back to Bakhmut but close.
I think we let one of the dumbest comments in this thread go without comment, and I wanted to make up for that oversight.

Russia is in Nazi Ukraine right now, leveling cities. Nobody is leveling cities in Russia. This author isn't dunking on you. Russia is. The author merely points this out:
Daniel L. Davis is a Senior Fellow for Defense Priorities and a former Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army who deployed into combat zones four times. He is the author of “The Eleventh Hour in 2020 America.”
"Put simply, Ukraine doesn’t have the personnel or industrial capacity to replace their lost men and equipment in comparison to the Russians.

No other military in the world uses Nazi symbols on their uniforms. None. Yet, it is widespread and accepted by the Ukraine government. The author avoids this point entirely. Moral low ground bottoming out.
The article also does not talk about the government itself being a Nazi state. That is the bigger problem.
The american congress said Ukraine's government is Nazi:
"The letter states that “It’s particularly troubling that much of the Nazi glorification in Ukraine is government-supported.” It noted ceremonies, gestures and legislation venerating leaders of the UPA and OUN militias, who fought alongside Nazi Germany during World War II and whose troops participated in atrocities against Jews and other victims."
If you want to see why people treat Davis like a clown who's been wrong about everything, see this collection of his claims that Russian wouldn't try to take Kyiv, that Russia was about to encircle the Ukrainian army, and that Ukraine had no chance of retaking Kherson.
The problem with these head-in-the-clouds "realists" is that they spent 2022 utterly divorced from reality and can't admit they were wrong. Big Joe Biden made the right call by sending lots of weapons to Ukraine and it made a huge difference. Now these deluded "realists" still think we should stop aiding Ukraine, not even bothering to acknowledge how utterly wrong they were.
So now that we know which side has its cities being leveled...
Let's talk about why this war started to better understand your morals in this thread:
What minorities do you target where you live? People that speak a different language.
We want to know if your values align with Ukraine's 2014 Donbas invading ethnic cleansing of civilians with its Nazi problem. It's important because it started this war.
If you don't attack civilians where you live for speaking another language or embracing an ethnicity, you don't actually support Ukraine.
We bring to the attention of Global Research Readers a video on the atrocities committed in Eastern Ukraine. The mainstream media is silent on the issue. The...
Ukraine is responsible for this war. Russia is not.
On November 24th 2013, a large crowd containing Ukraine Nazi / neo nazi flags, started the very first violence which ultimately led to the 2022 war. Ukraine neo-nazis then went to the Donbas to ethnic cleanse unarmed civilian minority people for 8 years only after November 24th 2013, not before.
This first Euromaidan violence and the ensuing tit-for-tat violence is the reason for 1) Ukraine’s Nazi ethnic cleansing of its own minority people in the Donbas and 2) the Russian government's liberation of the Donbas Feb 2022.
Ukraine is the fascist. Russia the anti-fascist, like WWII. Ukraine invaded the Donbas before the Russian government did. For no reason! Ukraine was re-aligned with the EU and the revolution succeeded. So why keep pushing racism and ethnic cleansing when the purpose of the Euromaidan was achieved???
From that day that started all the violence, Nov. 24th 2013:
“Tens of thousands of people held a peaceful meeting on European Square demanding Yanukovych abolish the decree and sack the government. But after the meeting, several hundred protesters rushed to the government headquarters demanding the government's resignation and that of the presidential administration. People threw smoke bombs and stones at police and shouted "Revolution!" Opposition politicians tried to calm the crowd but without success. The police responded by deploying teargas.” . The rest is history. Don't write checks your a** can't cash.

The patterns are clear: NATO provocation and NATO blocking peace to push war. NATO is an arms distribution group, weapons trade alliance. The goal of this war is to make the MIC money.
"The shooting war in Ukraine began with Yanukovych’s overthrow nine years ago, not in February 2022 as the U.S. government, NATO, and the G7 leaders would have us believe.
The U.S. worked covertly to overthrow Yanukovych, as captured vividly in the tape of then U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt planning the post-Yanukovych government weeks before the violent overthrow of Yanukovych.
In March 2022, Russia and Ukraine reported progress towards a quick negotiated end to the war based on Ukraine’s neutrality. According to Naftali Bennett, former Prime Minister of Israel, who was a mediator, an agreement was close to being reached before the U.S.blocked it.
Russia pursued diplomatic options in 2021 to avoid war, while Biden rejected diplomacy, insisting that Russia had no say whatsoever on the question of NATO enlargement. And Russia pushed diplomacy in March 2022, while the Biden team again blocked a diplomatic end to the war."
By recognizing that the question of NATO enlargement is at the center of this war, we understand why U.S. weaponry will not end this war. Only diplomatic efforts can do that.
