I cant wait until we meet the EPO king, kenny EPOlassen, that busts out a 25:40 10k. Its coming folks.
Yep, prediction - within the next couple years the 10,000 WR goes under 26. We just need a runner in the 26:20-:30 range and responds well to the shoes. Might even see a few runners under. In 5 years, as the shoes get even better, sub 26 will be the new sub 27.
if they are a dime a dozen, which I believe they most certainly are, why are we still talking about it. Same thing with the shoes. All of these athletes at the elite level have access to PEDS and shoes, it doesn't make sense not to use them.

We are talking about it still 'cause people (like MI Runner) like to slobber all over someone who runs fast and pretend they're clean and hard working. Especially when they're American. Because, and this is the thing, some people aren't cheating even when they have access. If people truly didn't care, then they wouldn't find it objectionable to point out PED use when someone runs fast.
The drive to lionize our preferred heroes even when it's obvious that they're doing is human nature, and it's fine. Sort of fun to mess with the current crop of doe-eyed Fisher fans, of course.
And as a fan of people running fast while not doping, I celebrate the accomplishments of people who did it without PEDs. Unfortunately, that means BTC isn't a group I can root for.

Clearly, Mr. Communist, you just seem to know… and therefore what you perceive is what others should believe.
The secret to achieving is by achieving. Try it, you just may shake off what ails you.
Your agenda, or vendetta, against BTC is exhausting. Clearly, you feel anyone who is part of BTC is guilty by association. I don’t believe that.
Your continual slander of Fisher speaks volumes of who you are and it needs to stop.
With your deranged mind speak, no one is allowed to believe Mo, Fisher, Kincaid, McGorty and others on the women side are clean. How incredibly arrogant of you.

It's Mr. Smith, duh. The 'Communist' part is clearly just a description. Kids these days aren't good at the whole grammar thing, eh?
Tautology notwithstanding, I've achieved plenty. No regrets here. I'm happy I didn't do it by cheating. Maybe Grant is happy with his achievement. I hope he didn't do it by cheating either.
Great, you don't have to believe it! That's the great thing about belief. Just know that more clever people will chuckle at your naivete. Oh, actually, before this witty repartee continues, do you 'believe' that Shelburrito used PEDs? Need to assess how strong your reality tether is.
Not exactly sure of what a message board counts as, but slander is usually spoken. I've expressed my concern over his continued association with a group of dopers. One might even say that I expressed curiosity as to why someone who is clean would hang around in such company. It makes me think, at least. It should make you think. But I can't make you use your brain, much as that would be nice.
Again, you're free to believe whatever you like. And I'm free to believe whatever I like. Don't get where arrogance comes into this, you could say 'how incredibly cynical of you' and it would be more accurate.
