3:59.66. Below average performance. Nick Wills almost beat him.
Hobbs and Ferlic weren’t ready for Millrose at all.

NBC 30 in CT just cut off the men's Wannamaker mile with 1.5 laps to go, to give a weather update. Of the same exact information they've been giving every 30 minutes all day. We get it, it's snowing. Harder on the western part of the state. Then went straight to commercial, never even showed the end of the race.
WTF. This is why I hate TV
As you can tell by my moniker, I haaaaaaaaaate NBC coverage. It’s the worst!
You’d think that they could figure out Picture in Picture, since … you know … that’s been around for 20 fvcking years.

Looks like Brooks spikes in an unreleased colorway
Yes. They were making a big deal of this being the debut of their new spike
Should have the WOOP heart monitor on Ritz to see where it registered for all the OAC wins today.

random word generator?
Could be totally wrong, but even early on in the race Hobbs seemed to hang back and was always right in front of Nick. Maybe he was trying to help Nick get that sub-4?

Ferlic ran a PR, and was Hobbs pacing Willis for sub-4? That was my impression
PLEASE NBC
STOP THE DES LINDEN EXPERIMENT
I am sure she is fun to sit down and have a beer with but she is boring as hell in this setting. She adds nothing to the broadcast.
I’m sure her little temper tantrum when Ritz joined Hanson’s probably has something to do with it.
Ritz is a star and she has lost the it factor.

Anywhere specific they discuss this spike? Podcast?
Nice meet, horrible TV break-ins and cut-outs...per the course. OAC...wow. They got up for this competition all the way around. Got to give a shout out to Elly Henes for running a nice personal best in women's 3K. (I'm from North Carolina so I root for anyone from the old home state). I wonder if the top couple of guys in the mile could do the same on the old 11-lap to the mile track that Coghlan ran his 3:49.xx on back in the early 1980's? Anyone figure out what Coghlan's time might translate to on a modern 200m banked with 'super' spikes?

Thrilled for nick willis - great ambassador for the sport and mentor for Hobbs who is clearly building towards Eugene and not millrose
That should say Kornikova. No idea if it's spelled right but who cares when they're hot am I right?
Shouldn't they have had a live readout on the screen to show the Whoop heart monitors of those in the race for better product advertisement?

Was in the AW preview, didn't say much about it if you're looking for tech specs or anything
Same on Kessler. His first three 1/4 splits were pretty even, which don't exactly suggest a struggle.

I thought she did fine. No histrionics, that's for sure. Put a Whoop on her and you'd get something in the low 40s. I think after having to suffer through Romo's call last weekend, I was ready for a composed play by play.

Wonder if Craig knows who they are yet.
Na, they'd need to put the name on the back of the singlets.
