Mu looks like she's jogging. Pacer almost took out Purrier leaving the track.

Does OAC win another one?
This Whoop sponsorship is really overdone but kinda interesting to watch the heart rate go up
Elle just crushed it. Foot on the throat.
Weird not seeing Jenny Simpson competing.
Elle destroys them all. As predicted.
Desi’s commentary is like I just took a sedative. Could she BE any less exciting to listen to? Also Drew Hunter is the most overrated American distance runner of the last 20 years.
Athing My is done! Stick a fork in her! No way she makes US 1500m team this summer
I guess this settles the debate over Mu's ability over the mile

They are still measuring Crouser's latest throw, this looks about where his last "WR" throw landed? IDK how this is 78 feet, look at difference b/w 60' and 70'. I want to believe

Something very fishy about this shotput measuring. They are still standing on the mark yet to report, it's taken 15+ minutes now.

Mu DNF’d and said f this distance.
I know that Weldon says all I do is complain about broadcasts, but I can't believe they jsut covered the women's mile that way.
Yet again, a race finishes and they do a close up of the winner. Hello? The competition is still going on. We want to see where Athing Mu is. Then they go to commercial without even telling us what Mu did.
Hello? Really.
It would be like a gold telecast not telling us what Tiger Woods shot simply because he didn't win.
Purrier simply needs to learn how to peak correctly now. I think she’s about on par with Laura Muir, and Muir just medaled in the Olympics, so I think a bronze or so at Worlds this year is a legit target. She’s not going to be challenged in any US race.

Worst pace job I’ve ever seen. She shouldn’t be paid for that.

I still think Teare’s best outdoor event is the 1,500 (it would be the 3,000 if it existed). Between him, Hocker, Hoare, Beamish, and Kerr, I would say that 5 out of the top 10 1,500 runners in the world are US based.
LOL. Kerr maybe in there, but Jacob, Cheruiyot, Katir, Stewy, Lewan, Kipsang, Wightman wipe away these guys.
hocker beat stewy and wightman at the olympics final last year and hes a almost a decade younger, but yea, there are obviously more talented groups out there. for the US tho, its not a bad group training here.
Looks like it was recorded as 22.76, final throw 21.19. Looking forward to seeing WR replay when it gets posted
Athing is a quitter!
