Mu would probably give up all her Gold medals if she could just break a mile time Tuohy set as a high school sophomore.

Arkansas ladies 10:51.6 in DMR - Gear 3:22.5, Wilson 52.4, Maloney 2:02, Gregory 4:34.8 ish for splits. But this team likely will not run in NCAA championships.
UNC and IU go at it in DMR 11:04.59 to 11:05.53 with Taryn Parks beating Stoffel of IU for the win. Paige of UNC 2:05 leg to draw them almost even.
UW ladies beat BYU (w/o Ellsworth and Wayment) 11:00.8 to 11:06 in DMR with Schadler pulling away from BYU (Hunter?) 4:37 vs 4:42 ish

No, it was Hunter, Hunter, Seymour and Halladay for BYU.

Mackay 8:54 today. That is some serious range.
Just watched the race - she is a powerful, almost lumbering runner. Stayed way back in the field but came up with a 31 second last lap.

Vissa comes back to win the 3,000 in 9:05 beating Jenna Magness in last 600 by < 1 second. Pace was a little slow - roughly 4:36, 4:29
Taylor Roe nips Lauren Gregory in the mile 4:34.3 to 4:35
Parker Valby just ran a 8:53 3k at Kentucky's invitational a little bit ago.

No worries... dnf
Which gives me faith. A great 400/800 runner naturally should not also be a great miler.
If Wayment is still eligible than she and Mccabe would seem to be the early season favorites. Varby's time was great also. Not sure her age but she graduated in 2020 so assuming the normal cycle she misses the under 20.
Many NC St runners, including Starliper ,are said to be confirmed for the Camel City races next Saturday, but Tuohy and Steelman are not among them.
Just in case anyone is interested, Marlee Starliper started a blog where she talks at length about her injuries and the frustration of not being able to race yet. She has been through a lot, but it sounds like she may be close to being fully healthy. You can check it out at marleestarliper.com
It is very well written, and I think anyone who has dealt with a long term injury situation will be able to relate. I for one am rooting for her and will be excited to see her race for NC State. She has really had a tough time.
Isn't Marlee Starliper supposed to run in the 3000m in Camel City Invite? She confirmed it on her post and the event posts also had her name as one of the NC State runners going to the event but when i looked at the entries, her name isn't on the list. I looked on other races and there's no Starliper.
Injured yet again!?? That's so frustrating!

https://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=11092984&page=2#post-609:00 for Chmiel, 9:05 for Hays and9:06 for Shaw (NC st) at JDL (flat track) today

Kelsey Chmiel just ran 8:59 for 2nd place at Camel City. She was out sprinted in the last lap by Ellie Henes.
I used to think of Chmiel as more of a CC runner because she seemed weaker in track, but she has really stepped it up this year and is posting some fast times.
