The CDC’s response when questioned about their withholding of Covid data and lack of transparency is essentially “we don’t trust you to be able to understand the truth.”
In most cases I would find this lack of transparency and condescension from a federal entity embarrassing and a net negative for society. Unfortunately the past 2 years of COVID and vaccine threads on LetsRun have destroyed any faith I had in my fellow countrymen to be able to interpret rather simple, raw data.
If the conduct of antivaxxers on here over the last year is anything to go on from, clearly this interpretation is correct. That, or they recognize antivaxxers wouldn’t bother even trying to analyze it in good faith and would immediately begin distorting it into some vile, toxic BS no sane person who thinks themselves a patriot would ever dream of doing
Do you mean the establishment lies, obfuscation and BS like the "99% Unvaccinated deaths" screaming headline from last summer ? The outright propaganda that included all deaths categorized as Covid deaths which occurred BEFORE the "vaccine" campaign started in December, 2020 ?

You lost. Spew all the invective you want. Effectiveness wanes for a "vaccine" that most people never needed in the first place.
Meh I didn't jab and I am healthy wealthy and wise. I'm an evoluionist atheist so we don't care about anyone but ourselves and survival of the fittest. So, why you pushing your guilt trip on us kid? Even if the jab works, why should I get it for someone else? Quit pushing your right wing morality on everyone else.
If you care about your 401k... people dying is bad. Just a tip.
It's clear from the CDC Covid Data Tracker that Americans, both vaccinated and the few remaining unvaccinated, have decided that they are done with the vaccine.
Six months ago, the fully vaxxed total stood at 220M. Today, all of those 220M are eligible for a booster, but the boosted total is only 103M. Over half of the fully vaxxed (117M) have decided "no thanks" to the booster.
Thus, 53% of the 2 vax cohort decided to forgo the booster.
The gap between 1st dose (258M) and 2nd dose (221M) is 37M. Assuming a 4 week gap between first and second dose, it should be only 1M.
Thus, 14% of the 1 vax cohort decided to forgo the 2nd vax.
If the FDA+CDC + vax companies would make meaningful headway on variant specific boosters, that would be great.
Que Annie. "Tomorrow, tomorrow, it's always tomorrow, it's always a booster away!"

A stock truly belongs in the trash can when even the CEO doesn't want it. Bancel bailing on his Moderna options. Of course, the names of the so-called charitable organizations are not disclosed.

Unsure what the right move here is.
We knew what the right move was back during the onset of the pandemic and we know it now.
The most logical path forward, for both the vaxxers and antivaxxers, would have been to follow the silenced Great Barrington Declaration (https://gbdeclaration.org/) of Focused Protection from the onset. Both sides of our collective response was doomed to fail from the onset.
The right move has always been and will always be full disclosure.
Thinking we could develop an effective coronavirus vaccine in 1 year to stop a pandemic was asinine. Then attempting to shove it down the throats of the American public through mandates and public shaming was even worse.

Every place that attempted GBD style mitigation - “isolate the vulnerable” - failed completely. UK in early/mid 2020, Sweden, etc.
In modern society isolating entire groups simply isn’t possible, especially from a high infectious airborne virus.

You mean Fauci and Collins were wrong about plotting, in their words, "a devastating takedown" of the authors of The Great Barrington Declaration ?

We don't know that's true. In fact there is pretty substantial evidence that it is not.
