That’s an enticing deal if true, even for top end coaches. Should be interesting to see who ends up with it. I wonder who’s in the talks now for the position
Zero chance unless they're paying over $200k. Are they paying over $200k?
SMH....Carlson isn't getting paid anywhere near $200K at ND as an assistant. LOL
Obviously. But he currently has a great situation both personally and professionally. Why would he leave a better overall situation unless there's A LOT more money involved?
Wouldn’t surprise me if they elevate Marcia Mecklenburg to be the director of the combined mens/womens teams at Eastern Washington & hire someone to be the associate head coach, with the intent of making them the director once Marcia retires.
Now about the guy who thinks Washington State cleans house after NCAAs, could this be the impetus that brings James Li back to the US from China and make him director at WSU? I guarantee you that John Chaplin will be working behind the scenes to get James Li the director job at Wazzu, or possibly Francesca Green from Arizona, who is a WSU grad.

Marcia is retiring as well.......so that is a no go on that theory.
James Li is not Director material and everyone knows it.....I see them going with a female director in the sprints/hurdle background....who is most viable for that position?
Pepin trying to be the oldest active HC? Literally dying on the job, no thank you lol. Auburn leaked any inside intel? I’m sure Scott is trying hard but there are waaayyy more successful coaches (assistant and head coaches) wanting this job. Thoughts?
