Her IG post has her in the same outfit as a picture from July. USUALLY, when there is a big announcement and an old photo is used, the big announcement is pregnancy.
July, aka one month ago, is an old photo?
She posted that her announcement wasn't earth shattering, so very unlikely to be pregnancy or retirement.
she just announced she's running Cherry Blossom 10 miler

presumably, not pregnant.

Perfect.
puppies arriving.
Although to be fair even though she hinted it wasn't 'earth shattering' news is a retirement or pregnancy that big of news for someone her age. Burrito-gate probably could rank as earth shattering given who was involved and when it happened but most announcements coming from pros aren't making headlines.

What do we think? Does this signify a move to the 5k/10k? I don't think she's ever run a 10k, unless I'm mistaken.

Not Necessarily, Road Races are Fun, and Runners 1500-Marathon (Even some/many 800 Runners) run 10 Miles to Half Marathon frequently in Training. So why not Race?

True. I love to see it.
I don't see any reason why Jenny can't scare Kara D'amato 10 mile road record (51:23) if she's fit (I expect she pivoted as she was gaining fitness towards the trials and is probably at a more usual "Jenny fit" level than when we saw her). I believe Kara had run ~15:04 5k not long before her 10 mile record. I can just imagine the aerobic fitness Jenny has accumulated training at altitude in Boulder as a Buff and a pro for the last 17 years. Her and her coaches probably had decide if she was going to race through the summer or prepare for something longer/new and she opted for the latter and I suspect has put in the distance specific work.
Hasay is in this field and if you think about any distance 5k and under you could never imagine Jordan beating Jenny or being anywhere close. I know Hasay is uniquely suited to longer distances but I think this could be a really great race if they are both fit.
If Jenny runs well, I'll be curious to see if she announces a fall half/full.
How many Stanford all-Americans ran post collegiately, Einstein? Wisconsin? Arkansas?
Yo midget, it's time to get over never getting a response from Burroughs or Nelson or Johnson to the unsolicited questionnaire and multiple emails you started sending in after you peaked when you scored a 3rd at the BFE Open as a junior.
I knew you couldn't answer the question, tell you what I'll venmo you the price of an Epipen for triggering you so hard.

She's pregnant with twins.
This post was removed.
I'm excited to see her line up in a longer road race. Hoping her and D'Amato push each other to a fast time.
