That's the only logical conclusion to the "news she sharing with everybody soon".
I think it's the next step for her, too. She'd be an awesome coach and could help pace some workouts when she wants to.
Any inside info on her, "news"?

I heard something similar. She may still try to run as an assistant coach for CU, but, if it's clear she doesn't have the ability to make a US team, that could be it. She won't be moving up from the 1,500, I know that much.
obviously returning to steeple for worlds and paris. with her 1500m speed low 8:40 is guaranteed

I think she'd be lucky to break 9:10 at this point in her career.

That time would have made her an Olympic team
Running the NY Marathon.
I'd like to see her in Eugene one last time making the WC's team next year.
Part time coaching....still kicking butt as a runner.
I love how she thought she would find another Coach and then came running back to Wetmore.
I'm not saying Wetmore needs to go, but sure seems like change is needed there.

Yes. I still think she'd be very good. But I don't think she'd be running 8:40s!
Coburn will retire and Simpson will make the next 2 Olympic teams in the steeple.
Wetmore had a great run but, it is time for him to contemplate retirement. Simpson would be a good candidate to replace him after a short apprenticeship. I think that she might also give a spark to their recruiting efforts as CU doesn't seem to get the talent that they used to. Is that due to Wetmore not connecting with young athletes any longer or has Boulder lost the "cool place to train" title to Flagstaff?

I like Jenny. Have had the chance to chat with her a few times.
But I am curious about why you think she would make a great coach. Just because a person performed at a high level does not mean that person knows how to get someone else to that level. Coaching is about more than just putting together a training plan or tactics.
This is not specific to Jenny as I think she is a genuinely nice person. I got see her interacting with several other top runners in a training situation and seemed at ease.

Just trolling. I feel like there is always speculation about her returning to steeple.
She will become a Boulder real estate agent
She should be CU's head recruiter

Pedigree, fame, and notoriety doesn't = good recruiting. Who has Solinsky gotten at Florida? It's about busting your ass and messaging/calling kids day and night. You have to put in a shiit ton of hours and effort and usually famous former elites don't want to do that. I'd be surprised if Jenny just swooped in and took over for Wetmore when it seems like Billy Nelson has been waiting a decade to take over. Wetmore has never been into aggressive recruiting, and he has gotten away with it by being a greta coach; but it is just harder to win that way now in the modern era since the competition is deeper than ever.
What if she's pregnant

She did win a world championship under “another coach”.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
