Other than Sara Hall are there American distance runners making over $100k a year that have never been on an Olympic team?

Doubt it.
They probably making like $10k a year and get paid in gear.
I know that is not correct. As I know of plenty that make over $50k.
Sara Hall has won the us championship for xc, 5k, 10k, the marathon, finished second at London, and run 2:20 - any other non Olympians have similar accolades?
I am a distance runner. I am American. I have never made an Olympic team. I make over $100K per year.

Not going to comb through history to check this but I will go ahead and say that having a resume like that without the Olympics on it is most likely unprecedented
Hunter and Kessler.
Phil “Buck” Knight never made an Olympic team.
Jordan Hasay??? There was talk that she did pretty well in her first contract out of college. Granted, a lot of that talk was crazy, but I could believe she got lucky and got a very nice first contract.

Yes, 29 of them.
Kelly Taylor, Steph Bruce, Scott Fauble, Ryan Hill.
Ashley Higginson is an attorney now. She should be making more than $100k.
99.999%
We showed you that there are at least a handful.
Brazier now and Hassay a few years ago for sure. I wouldn’t be surprised if guys like True and Jenkins were making close to that (including appearance fees and bonuses) in their prime.

Really. 🤔 You didn’t provide proof of income. You just guessed.
I guess Bolt and Rupp earn less than $100k Aldo then.
The absolute lowest number for Hunter is $100k and it may be as high as $300k.

Bolt and Rupp are both Olympians.
Hunter who?
Your rule "you didn't provide proof of income". How does being an Olympian change anything then? Maybe Olympians only earn $10k per year based on your burden of proof. Maybe Hunter only earns $5k.

And this is the problem. Those stupid nondisclosure agreements.
There are kids who play football, basketball, baseball because they know how much money the athletes make. 99% of these kids have no chance of even playing in college, but they can dream.
About 15 years ago someone I knew signed a contract out of college. I know that they started at 50K plus bonuses.
This person has been on more than one Olympic and World Championship teams and has medaled, plus many other accolades.
I just think it would raise interest in the sport if people knew how much runners were signing for and how much appearance fees they got in addition to bonus and prize money.
